Also this month we are getting ready to release Andre's new CD. It has some great new originals and a couple covers arranged by Andre. There are 2 special guest musicians who were kind enough to have put down some amazing parts down as well :) We just sent the songs to be mastered this morning at Lacquer Channel Mastering in Toronto, ON. We are very excited to send it to the printers tomorrow morning in St. Catharines at Advance Discs with the artwork of Amber Edgar! For those of you who chose the Liner Notes/CD Perk package from our indiegogo fundraiser, you will be receiving your CD soon!

We will be leaving shortly for our yearly Ottawa Tour next Thursday and coming back on Sunday, August 12, 2012 and leaving for the UK on Tuesday August 14th! It's going to be a super busy and fun month! We hope to share with you all sorts of video footage, photo's and stories with you soon. You will be able to catch up with us on our Website and Facebook Page , and Blogspot So please check back with us all month! The musicians traveling with us are Andre Bisson, Loretta Hale, Francis Smith, Matt Burns, and Brad Cheeseman!

We hope to do a CD release sometime when we get back, and we will notify you when that party is going to be! Andre did a fabulous job with his new songs on this CD and I'm so excited to share it with everyone!

Cogeco TV's James Anthony Presents LIVE! with Andre Bisson and a couple J-Tones

Andre Bisson was given the opportunity to be part of the 1st Episode of James Anthony's new show on Cogeco 23 Burlington/Niagara area. The show is called "James Anthony Presents LIVE!", a new show that allows Hamilton/Niagara musicians come and show their stuff on television. This episode was filmed at The Dutch Mill Market in the Waterdown area. We were honoured to be on the roster with great artists as Harrison Kennedy, Steve Burnside, and the talented musicians of the James Anthony and the "Eh" Team. 4 of Andre's songs were filmed and they will be spread over a few episodes this year.

Andre & the J-Tones in Ottawa, Perth and Quebec

We're back from our trip in Quebec, Ottawa and Perth. We were very fortunate to stay on the Ottawa River in a cottage in Quyon, Qc where the beer is sold in convinence stores and poutine on every corner.

We performed in Ottawa at a great Pub called D'Arcy McGee's at 44 Sparks Street near the Parliament buildings. We had a great crowd and saw lots of friends and family from the area which was awesome! We played till 1 a.m. and ended with an encore of Proud Mary.

When we got back to the cottage we were lucky to catch the best moments of the meteor shower that was taking place above us. It was a great site and first time most of us had seen one.

Friday and Saturday we had off to relax and spend some time in Ottawa to see the Museum of Civilization and have lunch in the Byward Market area. Other than that we spent time playing volleyball and horseshoe at the cottage.

Sunday early morning it was raining something torrential which left us wondering if we would be performing at all that day. When we arrived in Perth the rain stopped just in time for us to perform at the Perth Garlic Festival. During our breaks we went to sample all the different garlic dips, jams, fudge, honey, and flavoured and pickled garlic, making it an extremely delicious festival! We finished around 3 p.m. when it began to rain again. (phew!)

Sunday evening we enjoyed an amazing last dinner as we had all week and relaxed one last night on the Ottawa River.

Overall we had a great time and are looking forward to next years Eastern Ontario Tour.

Northern Ontario Tour 2010 Recap

HEY, We're Back!

We had a great time overall and met a lot of great people at our performances. Beautiful weather all week in the great North and not too many bugs.

We played in Thessalon, Bruce Mines and the last couple of nights in Sault Ste Marie. We've been traveling for about a week to Northern Ontario for the last 4 years and it only gets better.

It was a 10 and a half hour drive back to Hamilton and could have been much longer had we not taken the very nice back roads.

Thanks again to everyone that came out to see us play and also thank you to those of you who bought a CD.

Northern Ontario Tour Update 2

Hello Everyone!

We played Wednesday night @ The Sinton Tavern in Thessalon, ON where everyone was ready to dance and have a good time.

Canada Day - We played from 12:30 p.m. til 4 p.m. had a little afternoon lunch and played again from 7-9 p.m. before the fireworks. We were lucky to have great weather this year. Met lots of great people, not just from Bruce Mines but also Ohio, Pennsilvania, Ottawa, and all over Ontario.

In between all of this time, we've been enjoying a lot of basketball, hiking, jogging, board games, reading, jamming and just sitting around and talking. All that stuff seems pretty simple, but when you add all this beautiful scenery its just that much better.
